I would recommend going to local meet ups and to start making phone calls with lenders and getting pre-approved to understand your budget.

Time for action not phone calls which means you will need to pay huge monthly sums to an attorney to reclaim your money... sounds like a scam

@Eduardo Nieto Just as everyone else mentioned, working for someone else is a great way to learn and get your foot in the door.Other advice is to learn sales and get on the phone. 

I talked to someone yesterday on the phone who, in my opinion, got taken on a deal.
