and remember that a house hack is about building long term wealth, not about cash flowing. 

Not sure the size of your portfolio and if it is personal or you are managing for others, but if it is the latter (or you have a decent size portfolio) it might be worth while investing in that.  

With a 50,000 difference your property may be a deal worth doing, but you need to know the numbers.

Remember all you need is one good applicant.

The people I use are more than willing to look at potential investment properties for me (at no costs) because they know I am worth a lot of future money to them.

and remember that with a house hack, you're not trying to cash flow. you're just repurposing your housing payment. 

(The property won’t be worth its original value plus what you spent on solar panels, it will be worth some amount less.).
