Listsource seems to be ideal for searching a whole city that meets filtered criteria.

If you like the rate then move forward, if not then keep searching. 

Been searching for my first deal for about 2 months now and I managed to find an off market 4 plex. 

I did a quick Google search and Aftermath was the first company I called. 

I'm looking for someone who is proactive, responsive, and knowledgeable (not someone who's just going to set up an auto search).

I'm new in my search in this area.

If that's not your property, then it's not showing up.Bottom line, starting from Zillow, search like you're a renter for a corporate rental in your area.  

For instance, in my county you can do a search through the courthouse website's link to some 3rd party site for lis pendens notices that have gone out in a given time frame.
