Lets say in the future I sold THAT property as a 1031 and bought ANOTHER rental property, then in the future decide to sell THAT property, but NOT do a 1031 exchange, just want to be finished with it (hope I didnt lose you on that).

Hi @Jonathan Cook, you could look into an FHA loan which allows you to put down less than 20%.

Included in the above response...and more importantly would a commercial appraiser consider the costs of or the fact that it is shovel ready and entitlements are finished?

We’re getting so many nomad-worker tech-bro types moving here that medium-term furnished “executive” rentals in prime locations can fetch up to $30k/month (needs to be in a blue-chip location with super high-end luxury finishes/appliances/features obviously to rent for that much, and it’s seasonal, but still, it’s crazy).

@Justin PeuckerMainly just looking at number of bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, garage size, and condition of interior such as kitchen and bathroom finishes.

Luckily no one was hurt, but we are just now finishing up on that project now.
