Your going into a business arrangement money in exchange for a place for them to use.

You wouldn’t be able to because no one else would want to inherit this 10-year lease.Honestly, the only benefit I see in this arrangement is to the tenant.

@Vin Lanzafame this seems messy to me personally because if anything business related goes sideways you will be stuck with this very informal arrangement with your sister.

@Justin Somersett i have done seller financing a few times. it’s the best way to purchase a property in my opinion. your name will be on title in a true seller finance arrangement. yes, you are good to rent it out!

There should be specific remedies spelled out if either party fails to live up to their responsibilities and obligations under this arrangement.
