They bought that land and at the closing they were nothing but complimentary to my broker of the job I had done and how much I had helped them out (this was back in the 90's before internet real estate AND cell phones).

There may be a legal angle to all this, but that's above my pay grade.CL is just a small step above BackPage, which was recently shut down for aiding sex trafficking - and CL also removed their personal ad section as a result, though the "sex wanted" activities seem to have wormed their way into the other sections.When it comes to these rental scams, CL is aiding fraud, so maybe an attorney can take a swing at all this.Until then, CL is the wild west of the internet.

I choose engineers and geeks.. the just wanted the best Internet and they were shut-ins.Take the time to study the market you want to invest In when you get out.. it sucks trying to decide wether to sell at a loss and move home or stay away from family even when your out.
