I was recently tasked with finding an unheard-of market that could potentially attract brand-new STR investors.

Never heard of them nor can I find much info online about them @John Arena.What are you looking to accomplish with them?

@Kyle Rucker- thanks ....you will have a tough time locating a 2nd loan for  180K +  ....Ask the realtor you are working with for options ...Make sure that the lender holding the FHA loan will be able to approve your assumption  request  ( this can be a long drawn out step ) .....if you do find a 2nd mtg - compare the fha loan and 2nd mtg  to a  simple new FHA or conventional loan as there may not be a large difference 

If you're working with a great (not good) broker to assist you on finding the replacement deal, they should be providing you with the insights I've highlighted above (and more) to help you along the way.

Hi Anya, I don't have a property in Mesa but would recommend checking out/posting on Furnished Finder, VRBO and Airbnb (30 + day stays), and Facebook groups to determine pricing and try and find MTR tenants.
