I don't agree with her and I think she's pretty conniving, but I have to admit that watching her the past 2 years I respect her as a shark.

That Shark Tank on TV is child's play compared to the sharks in the real world, especially in RE, everywhere you go people will want to get into you pocket!

I doubt you will be getting anything at all that was built like a tank and that will last 40 years again, seems a boiler is a boiler, so long as it's safe, never owned one that was in service.My preference, not with much expertise, they are quiet, economical, easily replaced, remote control and at the unit, condensers can be mounted anywhere that can drain.

My attorney suggest us to demand seller to complete oil tank removal prior closing the property to protect us from potential big ticket repair cost if the soil contaminate or someday the town mandatory request all property remove oil tank.    

And if one of those others tank or drop significantly, what is the cascading effect on real estate?

When I signed the contract to buy the property, I filled up the tank and went to the seller's location so that they would feel more comfortable since they were an older couple.  

I had to replace a toilet once because the holding tank was wasting water.
