I plan on buying at my next duty station (Boston, MA) and had been planning on keeping my current residence to rent with the possibility of moving back here in 3 years (Jacksonville, FL).

Another one is dublicating debit account numbers at grocery stores and gas stations.

A great reason for investors to look for rental properties within 45 minutes to an hour drive from a major city or close the train station. 

Huge NASA space station, enormous army base, major government contractors, and associated businesses in the aerospace industry are centered here.

It's one of the reasons I am in the process of building a hybrid apartment/hotel in PHX, which will have the STR benefits of automation, full kitchens, and separate living and sleeping areas while having a pool, gym, outdoor courtyard, fire pit, grilling station, central location near shopping and restaurants, efficiencies of scale, commercial zoning, and no residential neighborhood challenges.

If they are stationed overseas it is not an issue and is very common.
