I don't really like to have significant funds not drawing interest in the hands of anyone even my best friend.Lawyers hate the paperwork for a 1031 exchange but they must be on board before the contract is let for the relinquished property so language is inserted notifyin g the buyer that there is a 1031 exchange involved.

For example, in Ohio the 3 Day Notice (eviction notice) is required to contain SPECIFIC language.

At the same time, she does need to report problems that you should address.Seems neither of you have a clear understanding of which is which.If such language is not in the lease, check with the local housing authority.

It's a short sale and they've got 30 days to get the lien holder approval (they actually advertised it as pre-negotiated, but wanted 90 days for this).In the meantime, I want to keep searching and making offers on properties.My Realtor doesn't seem to be inclined to make official low ball offers - his reasoning is that it's "insulting" to the seller's agent and wastes everyone's time.
