I guess I was hoping that wouldn't be so true regarding the surrounding cities (Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park) vs Austin proper.That being said, College Station holds a special place in my heart and I would definitely consider investing there too.

top agents in most higher priced markets make well over 1 million a year and of course some of the rock stars in say Manhatton or Beverly hills type areas probably can do 5 times that in commission income.. but I know they will spend a lot on marketing bill boards big catered open houses etc etc.
