I purchased a home via a state tax auction.

I'm looking for feeback.Everyone knows about going to the "courthouse steps" and shmoozing with the buyers at auction.

Hi,My friend has a question regarding HOA Foreclosure:Couple of weeks back she attended an auction and got a condo for very less price.At the time, she did not know that, it is a foreclosure by HOA.Later when she found that it is HOA who did the foreclosure, she contacted them and got to know that they will send a notice to current owner for redemption.They also mentioned that, if current owner pays the debts in 90 days, current owner can keep ownership.Here are his questions,1.

I know HUD houses are sold through daily auction, so I assume listing agent can not affect HUD's decision on whether to accept an offer or which one to accept.

Auctions?

Also if the house is foreclosed and is heading to the sheriff sale can I short sale it with the bank or is it already passed that time and I just have to wait till auction?

Here in Baltimore municipalities sell a lien via the tax lien auction if your unpaid water bills go over $250.

Until then, this auction exercise is just for entertainment.

3) Do I give up after the auction date or continue to send letters?
