@Stephen Benson You cannot deny the dogs at all unless you have evidence of being destructive or aggressive.

You do not have to take their word for it and can absolutely require written evidence from the person that determined the disability and prescribed the animal.

All that said, it seems I have a significant amount of room to choose my cost basis and provide evidence for each.

So I then took them proof of two different incidents, via actually things that were supposed to be swapped but weren't as well as video evidence.  

Factors that may indicate a property is abandoned include vacancy, damage or disrepair of the property, underutilization of the property, never taking actual possession of the property, failure to pay taxes on the property, failure to keep the property insured, and other evidence showing the defendant owner had truly moved away from the subject property such as voting in another jurisdiction.

You didn't try to run rogue on the seller or buyer which is evident in your assignment of contract profit.   

I'm not stating that to lead people to believe that there is now some short sale windfall, I only write that as anecdotal evidence that it does not appear that banks have changed any processes or decision making standards yet.

@Jason JonesIf a title company is involved in the transfer, they will almost certainly require your spouses signature absent evidence the the contrary that the property was legally deeded to you as separate property.
