I located a house while "driving for dollars" that upon investigation has been passed from deceased grandparents to deceased children and now to three living grandchildren.

I personally do have a rental property located right off of 8 mile which is the border and it has served me well thus far.

hey ,how is everybody i have a situation where i have a married couple on a deed and/or title on a short sale property that i thinking im of working on the only problem is one of the spouses is deceased.

.- They left a metal barrel that is 1/4 full of oil, I haven’t been able to get rid of this yet so it sits in the corner of the backyard against the fence that borders the neighbors backyard.- The other day, the new tenants in Unit 1 didn’t like the metal barrel in that spot so they attempted to move it.

There’s 3 bordering properties, so 3 different people to ask.

I owned one way up on the Canadian border and renovated it and it turned out great. 

The current tenants were family friends of the deceased owner.

In addition to all of the logical reasons, I'm sure some emotional attachment plays into it too...ie grandma's house or a deceased family member.
