New to the site.  

After doing quiet a bit of reading, I noticed one site stood out the most, BiggerPockets.

I've very excited to finally have the resource and community (along with rebuttals to every excuse I try to come up with) to build a real plan.I'm currently looking for my next deal for a flip and studying financing.

I was trying to track down an MLS for Chicago and the area and found a site but couldn't figure out how to get access.

@Derrick Holmes, first off, welcome to BP the bestest of all REI sites...I would commence by warning you off of land, as an investor that bought, sold, rehabbed, subdivided and rezoned land both raw and improved, it's by far the trickiest of all real estate endeavors; HENCE more rewarding.

BP is the ultimate real estate investing site around!

Its an incredibly powerful site with so much great info.

I heard about this site through a podcast and have been wanting to look into getting into real estate investing as a way to generate passive income.  

I appreciate any insight in the process and if there are any good resources out there that help you, I would love to know about them.
