Escrow is asking me to release contingencies on the 6th day, however my broker has not yet presented my request officially.

That is a 5 day celebration, and the neighbors were cool with it as they sent an email communicating beforehand. 

When the parties opt to make the contract assignable, Section 7 of the contract provides two options:The first option provides that Buyer 1 “may assign and thereby be released from any further liability under this Contract.”

I take the perspective that these homes deserve to be brought back (not restored but renovated, celebrating past and bringing to present). 

They blow and go I can release and much higher rents and get more cash flow and equity upside value that way.
