As soon as they express interest I just tell them I have a quick 5 question questionnaire for them to answer and I will let them know later. 

It's sad to know there are so many in our great country that would look at your current position and want to punish you for living the American dream.I disagree with retirement.

I was planning on selling the unit once their lease is up, but they have expressed interested in buying the unit.Is there anyway to "sell"/transfer ownership without going through the closing process?

Just look at the replies and comments where did these people grow up, China, the old USSR,  unfortunately not at al,l they learned all that right here in the Good Old USA. how scary is the fact that real americans have been dumbed down so far to react like this.
