There are no vaulted ceilings, but the entire exterior has a cabin style, and the tile and kitchen bathroom have a brownish color that would nicely complement wood, so I will find some middle ground. 

Just Google search your city and upholstery.Another option is buy new accept pillows to offset the color.

For some more color, are you needing an appraisal on a piece of land that you already own, are looking to purchase (and appraisal is needed by a lender), or for another reason?

we use SW porch enamel. you can tint it in any color, i believe.look on my site to see how it looks. it's just paint, clean the floor well and just paint. cost is around $40 per gallon or so

The floor will probably be OK stained a nice gray color.
