I like several of the app's mentioned but my office is not a model of well-organized efficiency. 

You mentioned gentrification, so I know people are buying and building new construction in the area.

Registered agent as mentioned or a PO box would be your best options if you want to have it somewhere else.

So your scenario works just fine. depending on timing it's conceivable that you might have two properties qualifying with your residency but waiting for the two year wait to end so you can sell the next one and take the 250/500k exemption.

Forgot to mention, the property is in the state of Maine. 

Demand side:  Tons and tons of prospective buyers have been sitting on the sidelines waiting for rates and/or prices to come down the slightest bit. 

They even started bringing over baked goods for all of us, and a review of our MTR mentions the kindness of our neighbors.
