RI-- Here is my perspective on turnkey rentals for new or experienced investors looking for xx yield.Background first-  I've been an investor/developer, builder, landlord (fair market and subsidized), private lender, project manager for 20yrs and for the past 7yrs an "accidental" litigator, involved in litigation against all the major banks for all the bad things they did to consumers and investors.I didn't go to law school but had to learn on my own (10,000 hours later in commercial law, trust law, tax law, securitization, syndication, consumer protection, fed, state and bk rules, appeals, etc) and ended up litigating in about 20 different states.

The large apartment complex where I live has a Military Personal Release clause (per the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act) that allows for early termination of a lease.

It is available here:http://www.clevelandhousingcourt.org/forms/Civil/3...During that 3 day period, the tenant is provided with the opportunity to cure the default by paying off the back rent and late fees in full.

So much to know just in order to show care to others and because of our sick society we often cannot help someone for fear of litigation.

If they backlog is several months away, as I hear they are now, you can still file for the evection in circuit court, since that is a civil action for possession and not ask for rents as a creditor, or obtain the stay and proceed.

The US has created then hyperinflated fiat currency both during the Revolutionary War and the Civil War.

I thought the fed has been manipulating interest rates almost as far back as post civil war when the latest incarnation of our federal currency was issued.

Mike,The lack of will to fight is rooted in the fact that America didn't experience and existential threat since the civil war.
