Hello, we just purchased a property and were hoping to get some ideas on kitchen reno - the goal is a lighter brighter space, with the same cabinets (they're high quality wood) that can be restained, and ideas for countertop/ backsplash.

Specifically looking for ideas on cabinets (finish/color), backsplash and/or countertops. 

Changed the locks, kitchen cabinet hardware, added nice used appliances (front load washer and dryer, fridge).
