If you know an approximate rate on the property and the term of the loan you can use a mortgage calculator with an amortization table to see where the approximate mortgage balance would be.

@Adrian Tilley I see what your saying about seller agents not showing the houses listed in this fashion, but if the buyer wants the house the agents are not going to leave money on the table.

In previous purchases I've done, something always changes... and the costs always go up.  3) He and his underwriters finished processing my loan literally 2.5 weeks prior to the closing date -- no extra questions, no extra background checks, no having to pull up bank records while sitting at the closing table, no nothing.
