In December 2008, I just graduated college (late inlife) and my net worth was zero...minus my student loans!

I was wondering if anyone has rented out to college students.

There are challenges with this market (crime, students in eLearning) but I am excited for my first rental.

I've heard blackout curtains are important for medical pros and desks for students/remote working.

My name is Ethan, I am a brand new college student and I have been kind of stunned by what I have heard on BP, as I have listened and read books through High School.

I have a good credit report, some money in the bank, but I'm also a doctoral student with the associated student loans.

The condos are in the center of town and directly across the street from the local university (great school with 15k+ students).

(Ie students loans with lower interest rates) so technically you get a better bang for your buck by investing.

Have about $20,000 saved up so far.Also a full time undergrad student (Using the GI Bill, this allows me to pocket an extra $2600 per/mo for Monthly Housing Allowance while I'm in school) I financed my first primary residence in Oct 2016, using the VA Loan with $0 down for $470,000. 

The renters popped out their third little (future) student a year ago.
