I am in no way saying you should buy a leveraged ETF and hold it long term, I'm not suggesting you buy any asset and hold it long term, I'm suggesting that liquidity in traditional gives you the opportunity to address and change your what assets you buy, and how long you hold them, on a much more frequent basis.

They start off with basic property configuration (bedrooms, bathrooms, etc), then consider costs (heat, provided appliances, etc) and features (central air, ceiling fans, etc).

There are lots of reasons for this: no down payment; no job history; unstable employment situation (frequent transfers, for example); does not want to maintain/rehab a home; wants to live in a nicer area than buying would allow; ETC.We have some older women who could afford to buy, but like being able to just call us if something goes wrong rather than hunt down their own repairman and pay the bill out of their pocket.
