You can always get your real estate license; it will cost a couple of thousand dollars for course work, testing, licensing, and then you'll have the cost of placing your license with a firm.

You cannot predict which listing site will do well for you at your location without significant testing. you also will generally get about 7% are the people coming and finding you and your website if you make it reasonably clear.

As far as renting it, do I need to verify (test) if it does or not.

There is a reason it takes 2000 hours of on the job each year for four years and 243 hours of schooling for four years just to test for the Journeyman license.
