@Chuck DrinnanI use Buildium as well, however if you do some searches on the forums I know there are a host of other options if you solely want the ability to accept payments online or in person at various locations.If you're bank is flexible and you feel you have great tenants, I know several people who have used  @Jennifer Griffin suggestion as well.

Landlords/owners should definitely conduct inspections as it allows you to look for leaks, pets (if not allowed), roommates not on the lease and general condition of apartment and a host of other things.
