@Brad Swearingen Some towns have this info right on their website and some others you will have to call the town offices directly to get this info.

I would say 70% of our tenants here in Connecticut pay through our website and the other 30% either mail payment to our office or drop it off at our office in the rent slot.

You can obtain the owner's name and mailing address from doing an online search at the Property Appraiser's Office; if it's in the name of an LLC,  you can google that name and often times find the corporate listing.

Thankfully my job only requires I be physically in the office infrequently, so I could owner-occupy for a year  in "nearby" areas (Modesto, Stockton, Sacramento, etc)... but it is still a major course correction.
