Yes, a realtor is your agent, but in a principle/agent relationship there is no exclusion to negligence.

In response to Rondi's comment about a door in your home office-- I would consult IRS publication 587 for a definitional framework of "exclusive use" for your home office for conducting business.

I have a financial background in mergers and acquisitions and now want to get involved in an industry where I can have an impact on many lives rather than just making money for a select few.
