Can't tell you how many times I have gone to look at property that I thought was terrific in pictures and there is no longer a property and it is only fresh dirt lot.Good luck.

Or is it best practice to start fresh with tenants once you buy a property?

It may depend on the finish of these spaces tho.I have seen some make the case that the basement area serves as necessary storage space which was acceptable.

. $795 and $825. both 3/1 units, off street parking, and basement storage.

We also don't regret it for a minute - financially, it STILL made sense, and now we're sitting pretty, house hacking our freshly renovated 2-fam, 13 miles from Manhattan.
