Perhaps some of the college-debt soaked millennials have gotten over being terrified of home ownership and are finally deciding they might want to buy a house after all, and the Govt wants to buy their vot.... errr...I mean, find a way to help them achieve the American Dream!

I have a few questions regarding this:How important is it to find an agent when I don't plan on buying properties in a regular fashion?

Would The ASHI American Society ir Home Inspector be a good place to start?

Do you have the experience, skills & capacity to complete the project in a timely fashion.

The other option is the good old fashioned way of bookmarking it to your browser. 

Maybe I could do sort of hybrid between both ideas; save up half the down payment through good old fashioned saving, and then do the second half with a 401k loan.
