You need to be able to search the web to investigate homes, use new programs that help me with automation and be looking out for new tools I can put in my toolbox. 

A friend of mine is a (now retired) master home inspector, and he was instrumental in helping me make good decisions about acquiring distressed properties when I started out.Pros: The structural/mechanical knowledge a home inspector has is very valuable, and could translate well in a GC role when doing rehabs.

The one thing to keep in mind if you personally obtain a mortgage loan from a residential lender is that you may trigger, or violate, the due on sale clause of the mortgage (or whatever the security instrument may be called in your particular state- deed of trust, security deed, etc).

Simplify tasks to the basic essentials and automate your processes as much as possible.Why not a licensed real estate professional (LREP)?

Zillow's "Zestimate" of value is simply an automated valuation model.

While I don't know much about wholesaling (yet) I know quite a bit about mobile technology solutions and integration/automation so I offer my expertise there to a fellow FL REI. 

This goes back to the flaws of the software (or any "automated" software)...if you're really going to get after it, face to face door to door is the way to go.
