Hi Makayla,Step one is to dive into the Education part of this site. 

That leads me to believe that this is a poorly thought out proposal or more of an expression of emotions than a real policy solution; the issue is that this further divides our country deeper into us vs them territory and IMHO, that is the last thing we need. 

I would also really try to dive into your market, and become an expert in it.

We can hope the loss would be made up by an equity gain, although this is not guaranteed.Be prepared for the fact that the extra cash flow from a multiunit investment won't be going straight into deeper pockets.

It's tedious but you start to see some trends popping up and then I dig in deeper.

I posted last year asking how to start out in investing but I did not have the flexibility to dive in.

Next one I hope to find off market and for a deeper discount and possibly with an ADU.

Seems as though you have one foot out and other foot dug in a bit deeper (by wanting to manage yourself).

I currently have a few properties that I have my eye on, and before I take a deep dive into them, I want to know I have a good management team behind me.
