Any success stories from people who own real estate in any of the areas like Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, etc.Also how difficult did you find the buying process to be for a foreigner?

That is the case for any LLC, foreign or domestic. 

I have done some research on this matter found that "Foreign National Mortgages" do exist for foreign visitors wanting to buy property in the USA. 

Unfortunately you cannot directly buy land as a foreigner, but there are ways to get around it by setting up some contracts with a "trusted" local.

@Megan StaffordYou can probably do it either way - if you form in AR, you will need to register as a foreign LLC in CA.

Also I’m not very familiar with the process of foreign RE investing.

I was given an introduction on real estate investing a few months back, and decided to load up on books to become more knowledgeable about REI, attending  some seminars that wanted me to pay ridiculous fees to learn the business , And while the industry is little foreign to me and nothing in  my professional background relates I have discovered this undeniable passion for it.So my questions is to the REI’s in the business, what are some  serious recommendations for anyone that wants to be engage in this business.
