In other words, there's not much you can do at this point since any action you take now can be undone, and you may face additional legal civil or even criminal issues if you do try to hide anything.  

When it comes to litigation and dealing with difficult tenants, I basically agree with what Andrew Syrios says in the article below.

The issue of HOA lien super priority has been the subject of considerable litigation in Nevada for several years now. 

But I've learnd that when it comes to litigation, what the judge thinks is "fair" is often way more important than what the lease says.

Here is what typically makes condo warrantable or unwarrantable:No single entity owns more than 10% of the units in a project, including the developerAt least 51% of the units are owner-occupiedFewer than 15% of the units are in arrears with their association duesThere is no litigation in which the homeowners association (HOA) is namedCommercial space accounts is 25 percent or less of the total building square footage

Failure to do so is both a criminal and civil offense.

I suspect that 3 or so days hasn't been worth it for anyone to litigate anything over thus far, but the way I read things as long as they're delivered at least 3 days post handling of the cashier's check then all is well.

Litigation in LA is slow at best and it hasn't helped that all branch courts were consolidated downtown last year.
