@Kwame Locks in addition to the advice of going to meetups, here's one strategy I think that would help you find someone to mentor you.As you go to the meetups meet as many people as you can, try and find more about their business so you have a rough idea of what they do and focus on, but more importantly try and ask them what problems they currently have or what they're struggling with.

I'm in the process of buying land, having a builder build a home for sale on that land, and then selling said home for a profit.If I buy the land in my name, get the construction loan in my name, but I want to sell it under the LLC's name, at what point am I would I report the income under the business's name?

Sounds like you picked a winner of a company to work with...If there isn't any paperwork allowing the PM to act on your behalf then the lease is not executed and therefore null and void.
