I’ve called some outfits like Finance of America, Groundfloor, and LendTerra, all seem legit, but I’d like to hear from some people who have actually used private money in this area, what their experience was like, etc.

Seller bought in 2001 for $175k and then put $100k into the first floor suite to outfit into a full blown medical office.

I can see how something like this would be extremely lucrative for an outfit like that.

I have researched this a bit and have found a few possibly good outfits, but it is still a fear I have...OR should I just stick with Single Family in my market?????

The outfit she's with keeps slightly more than half the commission.

@Charlie Palmeri   Lots of choice's and I am sure you will get the same advice about 30 times on BP but it really is all about picking the right outfit to start.. and then making sure you don't buy in areas that are management intensive ( unless you like that kind of thing)...

My own home generates 110% of the electricity that we use, is outfit with LED's, a 95% furnace, great windows and insulation.

I suspect in that area 2 to 4plex would be a good purchase and you don't need a quote un quote turn key outfit for that or anyone who does not live and work in the market place you want a local who is an expert on Current market conditions.
