While I am sure there are good operators on those sites, my impression is it is sort of the lazy way out.  

There have been several high profile incidents in STR in Plano over the past couple of years that I think have made the residents pause to think about how that works in residential neighborhoods. 

I hear the list hasn't changed much from that impression, but haven't looked recently.I have 13 SFRs and 3 are rented through Section 8.

I haven’t heard great things about Guesty for Pros, and I wasn’t impressed when I did a demo with them either.I use Hostaway now however and highly recommend them.

I haven't found one that I'm impressed with? 

My first impression was that we can wholesale it to a land lord since it is turnkey, pristine however looks quit outdated.
