Last year I quit my job and started my own business, it’s doing amazing but I am always distracted by BiggerPockets!

I get too distracted by the sales side of my biz to do the leg work on looking for motivated sellers.  

They were ready to offload the property since it was really more of a distraction and nuisance for them.

I'm thinking 2 grad students or a couple of non-tenured profs working on their Doctoral thesis who are pinching pennies might give me enough to make it all cash flow nicely.But more than anything, this project was a major distraction. 

I do this in the morning because it is when I have the most brainpower and the least amount of distractions. 

Let him know that you are very grateful for this opportunity but you have your vision set on your own goals right now (perhaps list out the goals) and feel this will only distract from it.

We have the means and the time, no kids to distract us either. it’s just that first step.

Keep in mind your reason for doing what you are doing (Money) but don’t let the lack of it discourage you, avoid all distractions and the money will come.

Trying to do both will introduce unnecessary strain and distraction into your life.
