Habe them do it correctly where it is seamless.then refinish those floors with a darker stain.

Your biggest electricity usage is typically HVAC (which could be greatly affected by differences in shading and building orientation) followed by water heating.

I'll likely be going with the darker LVP in here with agreeable gray (or equivalent) and white trims.

I provide shades in all windows but never blinds.

I so wish I could wake up that early and conquer the day; lately I have been trying to wake up before 7, the darker mornings now make it much harder 😅!
