Hey BP Family,A neighbor of mine passed away about 2 months ago and I have been trying to contact the family (trust) to see if they were going to be selling the property.

I don’t even give out the contacts other than to clients who actually closed a deal with me.

However, now that my note has been securitized and I have the pooling number that it is in, I contacted the servicer and they refuse to answer any questions about this whatsoever.

It's a great group, lots of great information, great contacts, and great networking.

Finding the correct contact info is hard enough, but if your pitch is that they should sell cheap now, you're misreading the market.Multifamily properties are worth significantly less now than they were just a few years ago, and asking for a further discount due to property condition would probably result in a loss, maybe not even pay off the debt.

I would also try to contact the code compliance department for advice.
