My wife and I currently invest here and in Kcmo but want to get to know this area and establish solid boots on the ground.

Those people were buying sight unseen and not doing their home work, they were not flying in to see where their houses were going to be located, they didn't have boots on the ground, they only had the turn key provider and their services.

I know it can be done with some boots on the ground in the city while you are away.

As you're beginning to research the different markets out there that meet your criteria, look to see if you have any boots on ground in t those areas who can help you with the long distance investing!
