I'm always up for a road trip to my old stomping grounds in Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida.

We probably get about 4 cars in the driveway per average trip. 

Wife and I are coming off of a long-term sailing trip after having a kid. 

If you pre-plan it right and make 50% of it business related, you can write the trip off as a business trip. 

And be able to write off the trip :)

My understanding is that it is regional travel, shopping trips, maybe some family events. 

Putting the properties in an LLC will not change the character of the income.
