I use Buildium and I'm building out a database in Airtable. 

There are a lot of ways to invest in RE and each requires building necessary skills.  

A lot of buildings don't have a carrier willing to insure at all.

As important a consideration is how will you reinvest/spend the proceeds from the sale to build wealth.Hope this helps.

Let's say you bought a property for $350k, consisting of $275k building and $75k land.

HOWEVER, there are two completely separate apartment buildings on the lot. 

Second- these developments where the same person develops, builds, and then requires you to use them for management- they always suck.

But then you have the benefits of using it yourself, plus you'll build equity if you choose the right property.

I'm seriously considering trying to find something there, but need to build up my knowledge and contacts of reputable agents and contractors etc.I'm interested in multi-family, STRs, commercial, self storage, and possibly even flips if the right opportunity came up.
