In Ohio, what are commonly known as local assessors elsewhere, are known as county auditors.

During a recent negotiation with a tenant, the tenant made mention that he looked up on the auditor's website and he said he knows where I live.  

I'm also an internal auditor so I always have questions about efficiency and risks.

In Ohio, you can check local comparables on the county auditor site; this takes time and patience.

That may have been what the auditor was referring to ("thermostat was wrong") The condenser outside may also not be functioning properly which runs the electric heat more often.
