What I'm trying to understanding better is creative financing, analyzing the surrounding markets, making connections, and many of the other industry-specific concepts that can really only be learned through real-life experience.The idea of REI came about between myself and my friends because one of them has access to a large amount of capital that he received from his parents as a gift.

@Roger Verastegui I am a big fan of the concept of pre fab.

Totally understand it depends on what kind of investment strategy you want to use, but I feel main concepts still apply ( maybe I am wrong!).

While I understand the concepts nothing beats seeing these deals in action.I would be grateful for the opportunity and am happy to offer my assistance in conducting research, organizing materials, or handling administrative tasks in return.  

This is a whole other world, so if this concept is new to you I recommend reading up on the topic before you invest a single dollar.

Being a single guy in his 40's, the flipping concept is right up my alley since being commitment-phobic is not necessarily a disadvantage here...

- Problem with compass is I believe they're too much investing into tech while it doesn't necessarily translate to bigger productivity and sales- The EXP model is actually significant changes where it tries to democratize the revenue by sharing it among team and leads- I would like to say the Exp is offering new business model in RE agency, while other agency is more like traditional where individualism performance is the key ; Same concept in used car you have regular used car dealership and you have car max which offer no haggle price.

I am not one for the 'more heads in beds' concept.
