i agree that it adds up. however, if you do some of the work yourself, it's still 5 time cheaper (exaggerating a little) than having someone else do it. i'd not buy locks from WM. the quickset exterior locks at HD are $50 each and come with a deadbolt. i love those (used to love them, now i just like them) since i can re-key in under 4 seconds. quality is really important when tenants are involved. i want things to last. i dont want to replace it again in 4 months.i buy some things online. like condensate pumps, humidifiers. but you can't beat HD prices. $20 for a bath faucet that looks pretty good is a great price.food for thought - imagine how much things would be if 90% of the items were NOT made in china. mind blowing, huh?
