If there were issues with the construction it would likely be very apparent by now unlike the the house that is recently remodeled, has relocated bathrooms etc. without permits, closes up the walls and then immediately sells. 

But, Wall Street does care.

Re your example #3, that kitchen has new cabinets, countertop, flooring, stove, microwave, island built, all new lighting, a half wall removed. 

So my appraiser came and did my appraisal but from the jump he was letting me know we are not cool he didn’t like i did accent walls, he didn’t like i had a mini split in each room he said i should just get a furnace.

Why bang your head against the wall and do this the hard way, do it the smart way.

Fortunately, the condo has two showers. a plumber will out tomorrow, but I don’t understand how they find the source of the leak, if I can’t authorize for them to cut the dry wall on a condo that’s not mine. shouldn the owner downstairs call a plumber? 

Another property the owner removed all the copper wiring damaging walls and ciling in the process. 

This reminded me of a Wall Street Journal article that came out about a month ago.
