People started talking about it more at the start of this year when rates were really going up, and they haven't stopped.So sellers with equity who are willing to finance that equity can definitely get a better price (because they're willing to take on the risk of being a mortgage holder instead of buying Treasuries, who knows why, possibly for installment sale/tax purposes).
