I read an article just the other week on that area and have been doing some research also virtually walking the streets and I was surprised how it’s starting to look.

I think for a lot of people who don't think they know people like that you might be surprised.

Let alone, when you get into home ownership you learn a lot more about the maintenance that is involved owning a home and have a better idea of what surprises may come your way in an investment property.  

I'd also assume you'll need $5-10K cash from day one for emergencies, rainy days, leaking flat roofs, and surprises. 

I’m not sure what I’m more surprised surprised about.

Caution: if you’re a deal finder for others don’t be surprised if they don’t want to hear about every acquisition you make...

EDUCATE YOURSELF - yes, it will take time, but will lead to a selection that better meets your expectations & avoids potentially costly surprises!

You may be surprised that even in a non-tourist area you will have travelers who would rather stay in your home than a hotel room while traveling!

Would it surprise you to know a great deal of title search and examination is done in the Philippines and India?
