Felipe Stefanoni First BRRRR questions Ohio Market
23 July 2020 | 9 replies
Hello BP fam,My name is Felipe, I run a small STR management company in FL (Orlando area) and I'm looking forward to doing my first BRRRR this year in Ohio market, I see a lot of small houses there for a good price (sometimes you can find duplexes under 60k).Let's say between buying and rehab a property I spend something around 30k-40k (I see it's a doable thing to do). After that, I start renting the property and try to refinance it in order to repeat it.However, I do have a few newbie questions:1 - Do the banks/lenders have a threshold in order to refinance properties?

Collin Hays Any STR experiences in Lake Placid NY?
27 January 2024 | 8 replies
., a quick search came up with this - https://www.adirondackdailyenterprise.com/news/local-news/20...The law will prohibit the issuance of new unhosted STR permits in residential neighborhoods, among other new measures that elected officials say are intended to preserve the Lake Placid community while still inviting the economic benefits STRs bring to this village...So that probably means that commercial zoning and the like will be the only way to do it now.The article said there would be a 5% tax on STR as well, so that means it is still doable, just have to watch where it is located.
